What is the typical Application?
This super light weight Li-Po battery is designed to power the electronics of 1/10th & 1/8th scale gas powered race cars. Overall weight of your race car will be significantly reduced over the use of NiMh receiver packs. The Li-Po battery voltage will stay constant to power the steering servo and throttle/brake servo throughout the race with the use of our voltage regulator. This unit must be used with the VXR Racing 5 Amp Switching Regulator (LVR-5000).

Runtime:
Don¡¯t be thrown away by the capacity rating as you will get awesome runtime out this pack. Average run time will vary with different types of setup and also driving style.

Why must it be used with the LVR-5000?
Although the Li-Po battery pack¡¯s nominal voltage is 7.4v, but when fully charged, output is 8.4v. The 8.4v output exceeds the safety level of most receivers and servos in the market and for that reason the Li-Po pack with the use of the LVR-5000 will decrease the battery voltage to a safe level for the electronics.

Reminder:
1) You will need a Li-Po charger to charge the pack
2) You must not over discharge the Li-Po pack.
